Douglas Roy "Doug" Blunck

     Douglas Roy "Doug" Blunck, a resident of Marlin and a native of Brazoria County, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at his at the age of 60.

     He was employed as a street supervisor for the city of Marlin after retiring from Brazoria County, Precinct One.

     Survivors include his children and their spouses, Lisa and Chris Catanese, Kevin and Becky Blunck, Melanie and Ryan Roussel all of Baton Rouge, LA, and Jason Blunck of Houston; four grandchildren, Courtney Catanese, Alyssa Catanese, Morgan Roussel and Evan Roussel; Two nieces and their spouses, Lori and Tim Burcell and Vicki and David Aebisher; and many great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Blunck was proceeded in death by his parents, Herman "Buddy" and Elizabeth "Liz" Blunck and his brother, Robert Blunck of Clute.

     Services were held at Lakewood Chapel on Lake Jackson on Saturday, June 2, 2007
