Watts - Roper

    The marriage of Miss Eleanor Watts, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. S. A. Watts of Marlin, to Mr. James C. Roper of Menard was solemnized in a ceremony at six o'clock Saturday evening in the of Rev. Stanford, Methodist pastor at Belton, who officiated.  They were accompanied t Belton for the wedding by the parents of the bride.
    The bride is a graduate of Baylor College, Belton, from which she received degrees of bachelor of arts and bachelor of music, and has been engaged in the teaching of music at Menard.
    Immediately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Roper left for Menard to reside.
