OF MISSIONARY COUNCIL

Meeting Opens With Devotionals and
Weekly Mission Report
Heard.

       "Obedience' was the subject of a lesson presented by Mrs. W. F. Fannin at a meeting of the Woman's Missionary Council at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Thursday afternoon.  It was based on the third chapter of proverbs, each member giving a quotation on the topic.
       Favored with an exceptionally large attendance, the meeting opened with devotionals conducted by Mrs. J. D. Mires, president, based on lst John, 3rd chapter.  Prayer for the sick was held.
       The weekly mission report showed 30 visits to the sick in homes, three visits to the sick in hospitals, three floral offerings, four religious tracts handed out, two evangelical papers distributed, four garments given, five prayer meetings helds,(sic) nine house to house visits in the interest of the church, two trays of meals sent, offering for missions $1.75, for foreign mission $1.80.
