BARN ON RUSHING FARM DESTROYED BY FLAMES

Surrounding Country for Several Miles Lit Up With Blaze

     Five destroyed the barn and contents on Will Rushing farm on the
Marlin and Odds road early Tuesday night. The surrounding country for
several miles showed reflection of the blaze.
     In addition to the barn, Mr. Rushing lost a considerable quantity of
feed, including above 1000 bushes of corn, reports state. Most of his farm
equipment was stored in another barn on the place.
     Origin of the blaze is undertermined, attention of Mr. Rushing, who
was at at the time, being called to the fire by a party passing the
place.
     Insurance in the sum of $800 on the barn and $1000 on contents was
carried.
