MINISTER AND WIFE FROM
BOSTON VISIT RELATIVES

Will Conduct Week of Special Meetings
at Schulenberg Before
Return

       Rev. and Mrs. Gilbert Wieting arrived at the of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wieting, after a 2500-mile auto trip from Boston, Mass., to Marlin.  They will spend two months in Texas with relatives
and friends and return to Boston on September 1.
       The trip south was very pleasant and they report good highways and beautiful scenery from Boston through New York, Philadelphia, Washington, the Shenandoah Valley, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas.
       The crops are reported as being good.
       After a week's stay with their parents at Perry they will go to Lexington to see Mrs. Wieting's parents, and from there they will go to Schulenberg, where Rev. Wieting will conduct a week of special meetings in the Methodist church.  From there they will visit friends at Schertz, Seguin and Monthalia, Texas.
       After a short return visit they will return to Boston University where Rev. Wieting is doing work in the graduate school toward his doctorate and Mrs. Wieting is working on her master's degree.  Their present is in Boston, where he is associate pastor and minister of music in the Mt. Bellingham M. E. church in Chelsea, Mass., and Mrs. Wieting is director of religious education in the same church.
