Official Notice of Election Given by
Chairman of Executive
Committee


     Marlin's 1932 White Man's Primary election will be held on the usual date, the third Tuesday in February, same falling this year on Tuesday, February 16, wit the runoff, if necessary, set for two weeks later, Tuesday, March 1, the executive committee decided at a meeting Thursday afternoon, at which the chairman was authorized to issue official notice of the primary electtion, which reads:
       "Notice is hereby given that a White Man's Primary election will be held in the City of Marlin, Falls county, Texas, on the 16th day of February, A.D. 1932, same being the third Tuesday in said month, for the purpose of nominating candidates for the general city election of said city (missing) April, 1932, as provided by statute, for the following offices, to-wit:
       "City Marshal,
       "City Assessor and Collector,
       "City Secretary
       "City Treasurer,
       One alderman each for Wards Nos. 1,2, and 3 of said city.
       "Also for the purpose of electing the the executive committee for said "White Man's Primary to be composed of a chairman, a committeeman at large, and one committeeman each for Wards Nos. 1,2 and 3 of said city.
       "That W.E. Hodges has been appointed presiding judge for said election, for which onlyl one polling place will be maintained for all three wards of said city, same to be located at the city hall of said City of Marlin, Texas.
       "That the majority rule has been invoked by the executive committee, and in event a second, or runoff primary election being necessary, the same shall be held two weeks after the first said election, said date for said second or runoff primary election being Tuesday, March 1, A.D. 1932, same being the first Tuesday of said month.
       "That all candidates be required to file application in statutory form for said election not later than five p. m. Friday, February 5, 1932, for places on ballot for said election or elections.
       "In witness whereof, I have hereunto affixed my signature, this the 7th day of January, A.D. 1932.
