RETURNED IN LIQUOR CASE

Charge Contained in
Indictment

A verdict of acquittal was returned by a jury late Wednesday in the case of F. M. Court, tried in Falls county district court on an indictment alleging illegal possession of intoxicating liquor.

Selection of the jury began Tuesday afternoon, with taking of testimony and arguments of counsel occupying Wednesday's session of court.

The defendant was charged with possession of intoxicating liquor for the purpose of sale.  His market on Wood street was searched by officers
and a quantity of liquor found in a safe.  Defendant disclaimed ownership of the liquor.
