SAYS MARLIN HAS NEEDED
PUBLIC PARK LONG TIME

"Yes, Marlin needs a public park and has for a long time, one with plenty of room and plenty of shade, and that is of as convenient access as possible," said B. J. Linthicum, Sr., Tuesday afternoon.

"I'm glad to see that a movement of this kind is on," he added.

"I am also glad to see that the city is retiring its bonds as options mature.  That is the way to maintain good credit and a low tax rate," he said.
