JENA SCHOOL CLOSES ITS
SIXTH MONTH OF SESSION

Pupils go on Easter Egg Hunt in
Pasture and Refereshments
Served.

The pupils of Jena closed the sixth month of school Friday, April 3.  The pupils had been very busy with their work and making Easter decorations for the school room.

Friday afternoon at three o'clock, the pupils, with their teacher Miss Walls, went on an Easter egg hunt in Mr. Tom Alexander's pasture. (       ) the egg hunt, cake and hot chocolate were served to the pupils.  The hostesses were Mesdames Walls and Alexander.

We attended track meet and all enjoyed a nice time.  Due to lack of equipment we could not enter any of the events, but hope to next term of school.

We are very busy as school is gradually drawing to an end.

Attendance has been very good this month as the weather has been favorable.

Those who made "A" reports were Fifth grade: Mila Marie Alexander and Lee Morris.

Sixth grade:  Violet Morris.

The following who did not miss any were Violet and Allen Morris and Milo Maria Alexander.

We hope to have a 100% in attendance and tardy this month as this will be the last month of school.
