ARRESTED on INDICTMENT
MORE THAN TWO YEARS OLD

Negro Returned to Marlin From Fort
Worth by Falls County
Sheriff.

       Jake Reed, negro, indicted more than two years ago by a Falls county grand jury for assault with intent to murder Guy Thornton, another negro, was returned to Marlin Wednesday night by Sheriff Reese from Fort Worth where the defendant was taken into custody.
       The assault was alleged to have occured (sic) in the Lott section October 1, 1928, the bill against Reed being found at the May term of district court in 1929, the defendant never having been taken into custody until his apprehension at Fort Worth, officers said.
