MARLIN WOMAN HONORED WITH BIRTHDAY DINNER

 

Was Third Member of Family to Observe Anniversary Within Week

 

Mrs. L. W. Goodrich was honored with a birthday dinner Thursday at her in Marlin, a number of out of town relatives being included among the guests.

 

Two daughters, Mrs. H. C. Nettles of Dallas and Mrs. J. B. McNamara and family of Waco, and two grandchildren, Dr. Lee Sewall and Mrs. A. J. Douglas of Gonzales, came from other points for the event, while a congratulatory telegram was received from another daughter, Mrs. Abbye Dickey of Boulder, Colo., and T. E. Goodrich of Dallas, a son, recently visited his mother.

 

Mrs. Goodrich was the third member of her family to observe her anniversary in less than a week, her granddaughter, Miss Mary Goodrich, having had a birthday party June 16, while the latter’s mother, Mrs. N. W. Goodrich, celebrated her anniversary June 12.
