ACQUITTED OF PASSING OF FORGED INSTRUMENT

Defendant Found Not Guilty by Verdict of District Court Jury

     Charged with passing a forged check, Charlie Young was acquitted by a
jury in Falls county district court Monday afternoon.
     The indictment alleged the defendant passed a check for $5.50 drawn on
 the Lott National Bank, purporting to be signed by W. H. Liles and having
 twice written on the back the name, Edgar William.  Young entered a plea
of not guilty.

     Members of the jury were:  J. L. Tadlock, Tom Bryant, M. L. Gaines, V. T. Irwin, J. J. Gallaher, R. H. Jones, T. A. Powers, Allen Jones, L. J. Bruggman, J. A. Reed, E. A. Gibson, J. L. Belk.
