Crosses Will be Conferred on Descendants of Confederate Veterans

An address by Judge Fountain Kirby of Groesbeeck and music by Scheef's Jolly Boys Band at Perry are features on the program at the county court room Wednesday night, when Mrs. W. W. Turner, recorder of crosses of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, will award crosses to a number of ex-soldiers of the World War.
Rev. F.P. Goddard will deliver the invocation. Terry Dickens will introduce Judge Kirby.  The program was arranged by Falls county post No. 31 American Legion, and the public is invited to attend. Crosses will be awarded to J. W. Abernathy, E. Jay Bryan, to be presented to his mother, Mrs. P. J. Bryan, J. T. Courtney, L. J. Dupuy, A. J. Hardin, J. G. Haak, E. R. Herring, E. K. Hunnicutt, Dr. E. P. Hutchings, Hawthorne E. Kyser, to be presented to his father, W. D . Kyser, B. C. Segrest, post commander, G. L.Hutchings, and R. H. Dupuy, to be presented to his mother, Mrs. H. G. Dupuy.
