CASE DEFERRED ACCOUNT
LACK OF FUNDS FOR JURY

Falls County Suit on Archer County
Land May be Tried in
February.

Due to Archer county being without jury funds, the suit of Falls
county to establish title to a strip of land outside the fence around its school lands in Archer county will not be tried at the November term of court there, J. B. Landrum, county judge, and Terry Dickens, one of the attorneys for Falls county, were advised on a trip to Archer City Monday in connection with the matter.  Value of the land has been increased by oil production.
Lack of money to pay jury fees in Archer county was attributed to county funds being involved in alleged insolvency of the county depository.  In event sufficient taxes are collected, the case will be called in February, it was stated.
