Thousand Dollar Issue and Ten-Cent School Maintenance Levy Approved

By a vote of 21 to 6, the Carter-Munsch school district Wednesday authorized a maintenance tax of 10 cents on the $100 property valuation and $1000 bond issue to run serially over a period of one to 20 years, unofficial returns show.
Returns were received at the Falls county clerk's office today and will be canvassed by commissioners' court at its next meeting.
