MARLIN MUSICIAN TO MAKE
TRIP WITH SIMMONS BAND

Cowboys to Play at Great Western
Livestock Show and Rodeo
at Los Angeles.

Frank Phillips, a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Phillips of Marlin, who is attending Simmons University at Abilene, will be a member of the famous Cowboy Band of that institution which leaves November 26 for Los Angeles, Calif., to play at the Great Western Livestock Show and Rodeo, slated November 28 to December 5.

Special Pullman, diner service and other accomodations have been arranged for the band during the trip, the announcement states.

This will be the first extensive trip of the band to the western part of the United States.  Several tours have been made in the East and South, also a trip to Europe.
