FALLS COUNTY AMERICAN
LEGION WILL HOLD FAIR

Joint Meeting of Post and Auxiliary
Will Be Called in Near
Future.

       Decision to hold a Falls County American Legion fair in Marlin Friday and Saturday, September 4 and 5, was reached at a meeting of Falls county post No. 31 American Legion at the city hall Thursday night.
       Recommendations of a committee named to look into feasibility of holding the fair were adopted, including provision for various committees which will handle details, and it was decided to hold a joint meeting of the post and auxiliary members on call of the commander in the near future.
       Flowers were ordered sent W. B. Denton, world war veteran from McClanahan, who is under treatment in a Waco hospital.
