STORE BURNS AFTER STORM

       Fire following in the wake of the storm late Monday destroyed the Gregory general merchandise store and contents at Cego about 11 o'clock that night.  Origin of the blaze is undetermined.  The of the owner of the store, who had had it in operation only a short time, was blown off the blocks by the wind earlier in the evening.
       The Methodist Church at Cego was blown down during the storm.  A house on the Leonard McKee place occupied by D. J. Miracle and house belonging to Will McKee were blown down.  Laney McKinney's smokehouse and garage were destroyed while a room was torn off of a house on the Felix Flowers place and another house was wrecked.
       The framework of a new gin plant being installed at Blevins was blown down.
       Cotton, corn, and oats were destroyed by the heavy hail that fell in that section, stated B. H. Bruner, commissioner of precinct No. 4.
