Stoner Strikes Boynton.
-----

Waco, Tex., Nov. 15.--Some excitement was created here yesterday when it became known that United States District Attorney, Chas. A. Boynton had been assaulted by ex-Postmaster W. A. Stoner.  The meeting took place on a prominent street and it is said to be an echo of the postoffice figh (sic) which resulted in the defeat of Mr. Stoner and the selectioin (sic) of W. H. Hoffman.
Mr. Stoner plead guilty to an affray and was assessed a small fine by the city judge.  Mr. Boynton was not fined as he made no effort to "strike back," Mr. Stoner being a much older man than he.
