Sanger – Godshaw Wedding
A
Waco wedding of more than usual interest to Marlin society folk, was that of
Miss Carrie Sanger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanger to Dr. Alfred T. Godshaw of
Louisville, Ky., which event took place at Temple Rodef Sholom in Waco Tuesday
evening, Rabbi Friedlander officiating.
The temple was filled with admiring friends of
the popular couple, and at the conclusion of the ceremony, a bridal reception
was tendered the party at the residence of the bride's parents.
Both the bride and groom are well know in Jewish circles in Marlin, the bride
having visited here often in the past. The groom held religious services here as
a number of times years ago.
Miss Frank of this city was of the wedding party and she was accompanied to Waco
by her sister, Miss Bertha and Mrs. Levi, and Miss Goodrich.
