THE MARLIN DEMOCRAT
Eighteenth Year - Number 18
Marlin, Texas, Thursday, June 27, 1907
-------
Prominent Temperance Speaker Here.
-----

Mrs. Nannie Curtis, the well known and talented temperance lecturer, is visiting Marlin for her health, and is at the Majestic.  Mrs. Curtis is just returned from Tennessee where she spent several weeks in the campaign in the cities of that state.
Mr. Curtis is a traveling salesman, and on his usual rounds, reached Marlin before he knew that Mrs. Curtis had returned to Texas and was therefore surprised when he learned that his wife was here and under treatment.
The lady is now doing nicely, recovering from the rheumatism, as most all do who come to Marlin.
