Musical Club Meeting.
-----

       The Musical Club met with Miss Bartlett Wednesday afternoon and had as guests Miss Haines of Tennessee, Mesdames London of Austin, J. G. Oltorf of Dallas, and two of our honorary members, Mesdames Westbrook and Feullenwider.

       Roll call was responded to with current events.

       Reports of officers were heard and much business discussed.  The club voted to have their Grieg recital on New Year's day.

       The lesson on "American Folk Song" was well prepared and ably lead by Miss Goodrich.

       The program was enjoyed and was as follows:

       Paper--American Folk Song.....Miss Sallie Peyton.
       Vocal solo--"Sing Me to Sleep"......Greene--Mrs. J.W.Torbett.
       Paper--"Metropolitan Opera House"....Miss Goodrich.
       Instrumental solo--"From an Indian Lodge"....Mrs Dowell..Miss

Clarkson.

       Paper--"A Southern Singer"...Mrs. Burkhead.
       Instrumental solo--"Nocturne"..Allita..Mrs. Maud Horne.

       The club adjourned, when Miss Bartlett served a delicious salad
course.
