Mrs. Peebles is Improving.
-----

Mrs. Willie Peebles, the pretty 20-year-old woman who was shot by her husband, Thos. G. Peebles, Friday morning, is improving rapidly.
Probing of the wounds by a physician, disclosed the fact that the bullet which struck in the leg below the right knee, hit the bone and then glanced out.  The bullet which entered her hip was located in the flesh near the bone.  The wound on her arm was trivial.  Peebles is still in jail, having failed to give the $750 bond required on the charge of assault to murder.--Ft. Worth Record.
