Miss May Jones' Party.
-----

Miss May Jones entertained quite a number of friends Friday evening.  Complimentary to Miss Nancy Rice, who is soon to leave with her parents for Austin.  The party was a very jolly one, composed principally of class and schoolmates.  The evening passed all to swiftly, and when the hour for departure came "good byes" were said with a reluctant feeling, yet with thanks in profusion to the hostess for such a delightful time.
In the prize contest Gussie Whitaker and Ottie Vernin were winners of the first prizes, Dolly Schuh and Joe Johnson the boobies.  After the advertisement contest we wrote telegrams using the letters of Nancy's name.  Rodney Donohoo carried off the first prize and Herbert Rice the booby.
May, with the assistance of her two brothers, served delicious refreshments.
Those present were:  Elsie Eikei (Waco), Lucy Keesee, Mildred Finks, Marion Sims, Ruby Smith, Hillie Hart Johnson, Nancy Rice, Gussie Whitaker, Mary Nell Cook, Dolly Schuh, Allie Gill, Alice Hollingsworth, Louise Dunkum, Joe and Grady Johnson, Charlie Robertson, Robert Crawford, Lilbourne Peterson, Hawthorne Kyser, Rodney Donohoo, Albert Chilton, Ottie Vernin, Herbert Rice, Fonzie Robertson.
