Joe Dawson to the Pen.
The final
papers in the Joe Dawson case have been forwarded to the penitentiary officials
and Joe will probably be taken thence by the latter part of the week.
Joe was
given four years for assault with intent to kill his wife. The case was
recently affirmed by the court of criminal appeals.
Joe and
his wife have long since reconciliated their differences but this does not
satisfy the law and Joe will have to do time for the state.
