JIM NELSON CASE AFFIRMED.

    The court of criminal appeals has affirmed the case of Jim Nelson, on appeal from the district court of Falls county.

    Nelson is the negro who was the principal actor in the street riot in Marlin during the street carnival Christmas week.

    He was convicted on the charge of killing Paul Broadus and given thirty years in the pen.

    The charge against him for killing the negro girl is still pending and will be called at the July term of the district court.
