Miss Lita Green of this city and Mr. J. A. Scott of Corsicana, were united in marriage at 3:30 this afternoon.

The wedding took place at the of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Green, on East Live Oak street, Rev. O. T. Hotchkiss performing the ceremony.

It was a quiet wedding, only a few intimate friends being present.

The happy couple departed on the 4:40 train for their in Corsicana.

The bride is well known in Marlin, having been reared here. The groom is in the employ of the Cotton Belt railway and has been a frequent visitor to Marlin for some years. The little romance that has so happily advanced to matrimony had its beginning on one of these visits and the proud groom has just cause to congratulate himself on the fate that turned him this way.
