Mrs. J. B. Billingsley's Reception.
-----

One of the social events of the season was the reception given complimentary to the Wednesday Social Club and Miss Aubry Sparks of Waco by Mr. and mrs. J. B. Billingsley.
Seventy-five handsomely gowned women accepted their hospitality.  The out of town guests were Mesdames W. W. Wilson of Houston, Goodrich of Dallas, Rimes of San Angelo, Sears of Waco, Misses Dallas of Dallas and Sparks of Waco.
The parlors and reception hall were decorated in daisies while the dining hall, where delicious punch was served by Misses Rosa May Cousins and Roberta Falconer, was made beautiful with a profusion of daisies.
Mrs. W. W. Allen and Miss Sparks assisted the hostess in serving a dainty salad course, consisting of club sandwiches, cream chicken on wafers, crackers, olives and ice tea.
