Baptist Rallies Program.

-----   

    A series of rallies will be held with the Baptist churches of Falls county, east of the river, beginning Thursday, Dec. 26, at Reagan, and closing Jan. 1, at Otto.  The dates and places are as follows:

 

    Reagan, Thursday night and Friday; the regular board meeting at Blue Ridge, Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night and Sunday; McClanahan, Sunday night, Monday and Monday night; Hope, Tuesday and Tuesday night.  The program will be a discussion of some of the characteristics of a true church of Christ.

 

    1.  The New Birth, and How Procured -- M. A. Phillips and Reed Rector.

 

    2.  Bible Baptism--J. T. Griffith and B. T. Goodwin.

 

    3.  The Lord's Supper:  Why" By Whom? -- R. J. Wood and Pastor Caraway.

 

    4.  What is the Scriptural Form of Church Government? -- E. J. Isenhower and A. J. Moore.

 

    5.  What is the Church's Mission in the World? -- J. H. McClain and B. J. Patrick.

 

    6.  What is the Best Methods of Developing Young Members? -- A. N. Porter and G. G. Gibson.

 

    7.  The Condition of Our Field and How to Meet It -- J. L. Stuckey and others.

 

    Such changes will be made at different places of both speakers and subjects as the committee may see fit.  Every pastor is urged to join in the work and all the board members urged to attend the board meetings, and the  public generally is cordially invited to attend the meetings.
