Autoists Sue for Damage.
-----

       E. E. Mooty and W. C. Knight of Temple are defendants in a damage case in county court, wherein Mrs. Dora Brown of Durango sued them for alleged personal injuries to the amount of $930.
The case has been pending for some time and had resulted in a mistrial before.
Knight and Mooty were going along the public road when the Brown family were seen coming meeting them.  Mrs. Brown and daughter jumped from the wagon, each one having one of the children in their arms.  Mrs. Brown alleges that in jumping out of the wagon she sustained a sprained ankle and was otherwise injured.
The defendants claim that it was not necessary for the parties to jump out and that the team was not, in fact, frightened at the approach of the auto.
The case could not be taken up today on account of the illness of Judge Boyles.
