Allen Curtis Pleases the Crowd.
-----

The Allen Curtis Musical company, who presented "Jakey, Mikey & Ikey" Thursday night at the opera house, pleased the fair sized crowd that was present to hear them.
The play, as advertised, was strictly a musical comedy and parts of it were extremely comical, especially Allen Curtis as Ike Cohen.  His impersonation and make-up as a wealthy Hebrew was a part that could hardly be filled in any more realistic way than he filled it last night.
Arthur Clamage in the part of the German sausage maker deserves special mention.
Albert Leonard's clog dancing is the best that has ever been seen on the stage in the city.
Miss Green, in "I Want Some One to Love," and "Deutschland," with the chorus was the prettiest leader, even exceeding the prima donna, and added much to Allen Curtis' effort in pleasing the crowd.  She is quite young and it is only a course of a short time until she will be a leading star on the stage, her dancing was also very clever.  It was a good show, all round and well worth the money.
