       Editor Democrat:  The report having been quite extensively circulated that my two children had had the diphtheria and that the quarantine regulations as required by law had not beeN observed in their case, I desire to say.  In order to allay any undue fear or alarm that may have been created by the circulation of said report, that neither of my children have had, nor have they so far as I know, been exposed to a case of diphtheria.  Respectfully.                 J.
