COMMISSIONERS COURT

The commissioners court met Monday in special session for the purpose
of
making appointments for the ensuing year. The appointments were made and
policies fixed as follows:
Road Superintendent, M. J. Poole, salary $60.00 per month.
County Physician, B. G. Ward, salary $275 per year.
Keeper of poor farm, G. M. Yates, salary $7 per month for each
inmate.
Court house janitor, E. Gutherie, salary $50 per month.
All these are reappointments with the exception of the county health
officer.
The salary fixed for the road superintendent is an increase of $10
per
month and that of the janitor is an increase of $10 per month. The pay of
the county physician is a decrease of $25 per year. The pay of the poor
farm
keeper remains the same.
