Vote Early and Vote Often.

       The ladies of the Wednesday Social Club have inaugurated a voting contest to determine who is the ugliest man in Marlin.  Anyone can vote as often as he wants at a penny a vote.  The polling places will be at The Ladies' Bazaar, Allen Bros., Renfro & Martin's and J. H. Herron's.
       Your vote will be registered for your favorite at either or all of these places and was begun Monday morning at 8 o'clock and continue for two weeks.  The proceeds will go to the park fund.  The successful candidate will receive a handsome prize.
       The following gentlemen have been placed in nomination:

       Thad S. Clark, Geo. H. Carter, W. J. DeBardleben, W. A. Patrick, Tom Connally, B. C. Nettles, Dan M. Jackson, T. A. Cheeves, Z. I. Harlan, Dr. G. P. Reeves, C. T. Curry, A. Y. Curtis, Abe Louis and J. M. Kennedy.
