PLANS FOR
SCHOOL BUILDING
-----
UNDER CONSIDERATION
BY COUNCIL.
-----
School Board Acting With Them.
The honorable city council has under
consideration a number of sets of plans for the new school building, which were
submitted Monday.
The plans all call for a building costing
$20,000 and to be of modern architecture and construction in every respect.
The material used will be brick and the building will have almost eighteen
rooms.
Members of the school board and
Superintendent Hudson have been meeting with the council and considering the
various plans submitted.
No plans have as yet been adopted nor will
they be for several days yet as the council desires to exercise proper care in
adopting the plans.
The council and board will hold another
meeting Friday to further consider the plans which are submitted by architects
from Waco, Marlin. Houston and Dallas.
