OTTO.

Our gins are doing very good business considering the scarcity of material.

       T. J. Smith is putting in a small line of dry goods.

Mrs. E. E. Dean of Riesel visited Lee Bradshaw's one day this week.

       A. B. Schneider of Storrs was in Otto Saturday on business.

Misses Maggie and Corrie Rogers spent a few days in Reagan last week visiting friends and relatives.

From what I can hear among the people of this place, I think candidates that furnish themselves with a regular camping outfit to make the coming campaign, will come out winner at the November election.  We can probably furnish you plenty of water and some clabber to make your bread.

Frank Rogers, son of W. P. Rogers was thrown from this horse Thursday evening.  His foot hung in the stirrup and hence dragged at a flying speed about 200 yards, when his foot slipped out.  He lay unconscious until about 10 o'clock when he was found and carried home.  From the small of back to his shoulders the skin and flesh was worn off and badly bruised.  The back of head was also badly bruised.  He is yet unconscious nearly all the time.  He seems to be improving slowly, but is in a very critical condition yet.  I hope ere this reaches the press he will be out of danger and improving fast.

Great star's, didn't the Hearne Democrat throw a wad at the citizens of old Falls.  Compliments to the old reliable
Marlin Democrat for tossing it back.

       S. P. Elliot of Happy Hollow was in Otto on business Saturday.
                                                                             BADGER.
