    The Matinee Musical club met Wednesday afternoon with Miss Shelton.  The attendance was good and the lesson will prepared by the members.
    The lesson was on the "German Operetta" and was led by Mrs. F. M. Burkhead.  The lesson was rather difficult but well presented.
    A duet, rendered by miss Sallie Peyton an Mrs. A. O. Bowdon and a paper on "Orchestral Music" by Mrs. Lillie Frank Levi were other numbers of the afternoon's program.
    The club meets next with Misses Goodrich.
