-----

Mr. D. L. Wardlaw doing a general merchandise business at Reagan, made an assignment for the benefit of his creditors Tuesday.

The liabilities are placed at approximately $42, 000 and the list covers a wide range of creditors.

The aggregate assets are about $45,000.  They consist of lands, accounts, stock on hand, etc., $9,000 of which is exempt.

The failure is caused by bad crops, poor collections, etc.

Mr. Wardlaw is one of Falls county's best citizens and his many friends hope that he may recover his losses in time.  In addition to business troubles, he has been ill for several months and for the last month has been confined to his home.
