       The Court of criminal appeals has affirmed the case against Joe Gibson, appealed from this county.
       Joe was convicted at the January term of the district court on a charge of murdering his wife Kate Gibson.
       The deed was committed in the western part of the city and was a particularly atrocious and bloody one.
       Gibson after inflicting fatal wounds on his wife calmly dew a razor across his own throat but the wound did not prove fatal and he soon recovered.
