GENERAL NEWS NOTES.
A man in Atcheson drags his feet. They are too heavy to lift.
President Roosevelt will probably not visit
Texas this fall.
A lynching is eminent at Russeleville, Ky,
if the murderer of 15-year old Ada Vick can be found.
The farmers of Mississippi are organizing
for the purpose of securing better prices for their cotton seed.
It is reported that the American Banker's
Association will give Charles Becker, the noted forger a pension of $500 per
month if he will promise to be "good" when he gets out of prison. Becker
has cost the bankers a great deal of money in the past by his slick schemes and
smooth methods.
