KILLED OVER A GAMBLING DISPUTE.

Dallas, Tex., Oct. 1.--"Swell" Jarrett and Pat Mangus were shot and killed in a restaurant at Bowie, Texas, this morning.
The shooting was brought on over a gambling dispute.  Luther Raines, son of the sheriff of Montague county, who was a third party to the affray, was uninjured.  He left the place hastily and has not been located.
The killing caused the greatest excitement in the little city of Bowie.
