CHARGED WITH FIGHTING
Two negro boys were before the
mayor's court Friday on a charge of fighting. The older, Louis Moore,
plead guilty and was fined $1.00 and costs. The other, George Machanier,
was discharged. George had been placed in the calaboose the night previous
where he kept up a hideous howl until late in the night.
