Ed. Logan Sentenced
In Murder Trial

    The jury in the Ed. Logan case brought in a verdict of guilty and assessed the punishment at 5 years in the penitentiary.  This defendant was convicted of murder at former term of the court and given ten years on a charge of killing Neal Sealy another negro.  The court of criminal appeals reversed the case and the second trial resulted as stated.
