In conversation with the DEMOCRAT,
Paul Cluck calls attention to the necessity for a good public road from Marlin
to Highbank. As it now is there is no direct road to that section at all.
To get to Marlin from many of the farms in the lower bottom it is necessary to
travel east to the H. & T. C. railway or west almost to the Brazos river, losing
several miles in the trip. This is a matter that might be looked after
with good results.
