A MUSICAL CONCERT
A musical concert, which has been
under preparation for several months will be given at the court house on Tuesday
May 31. This concert is preliminary to the regular school exercises and will
contain a drill by the younger children. There will be a large chorus and
orchestra by the best talent to be obtained, in the chorus. With the exception
of Prof. Johnson of Waco the program will be in the bands of local talent, and
the entire proceeds will be given to the public school library fund and the
Marlin fire department.
