COLORED MEN'S CONVENTION.
In accordance to the call issued by Prof. M. H. Broyles, President Texas Negro
Convention Nov. 11, 1902. I hereby call a delegated convention to meet in
the city of Marlin, Dec. 6 to perfect a permanent organization in the county.
The colored men of each precinct of the county are hereby
requested to meet at the accustom place of precinct meeting, Saturday, Nov. 29,
1902 and organize the precinct by electing a president and Secretary.
Immediately upon effecting the organization, the precinct meeting shall elect
fifteen delegates to represent the precinct in county convention Saturday, Dec.
6, 1902.
The precinct meeting may be called by any three colored men
of the precinct provided two of them are free holders.
