BUSINESS TROUBLES.

IN BANKRUPTCY.

 

    Mr. T. K. Barton for many years in the saddle, harness and buggy business in this city filed papers in bankruptcy before the referee at Waco Wednesday.  The liabilities are scheduled at about $10,000.  The amount of assets could not be learned, as all the papers in such cases are filed at Waco.

 

ROSEBUD FIRM ASSIGNS.

 

    J. D. Tarver & Co., doing a general merchandise business at Rosebud, filed with the county clerk an instrument conveying all their goods, wares, accounts, etc., to Sam Sanger and G. W. Riddle, in trust for the benefit of their creditors.  The schedule shows liabilities amounting to $12,500 in round numbers.  The value of the assets are not given.
