LADY BURNS TO DEATH
Marlin, Tex: Mrs. I. Wilkinging of Burton county, was burned to death at
of her sister, Mrs. H. Nienanat, two miles northeast of Marlin, Thursday
morning. In striking a match to light a lamp she dropped it to the floor.
She attempted to extinguishing it by pressing her foot upon it. Her skirts
were ignited and she ran into the breeze and was soon enveloped in flames.
