OPERATION FOR APPENDICITIS.

     Perry, June 20. - An operation for appendicitis was performed on W. H. Smith, who lives one mile north of Perry. The operation was made by Dr. Hale of Waco, assisted by Drs. Morgan of Perry and Baird of Otto. Mr. Smith is one of Perry's successful merchants and has had appendicitis for about eighteen months. He is resting very well now.
