ADMITTED TO BAIL.
Charlotte
Massey and Maggie Foy were admitted to bail by special Judge Boyles Saturday
afternoon, upon a habeas corpus hearing.
The Massey
woman's bond was fixed at $1500 and Maggie Foy's at $300.
The
hearing developed that the defense will set up seif (sic) defense in the killing
of Eliza Thomas with whose murder the defendants are charged.
The
defense presented two eye witnesses to the killing which were unknown to the
state when the examining trial was held.
